On a note, anyone have an idea how to hide the bottom edge of the top fairing?
The shearing shed was built for the 1954 Korean war wool boom, but then white ant's got into it a couple of years ago and it fell down.

Where were you at in Iraq YoDoc?
Just picked up this 2006 for a second bike to ride back and forth to work. So far I like it allot.
Jack
Try to keep it looking as stock as possible.
It started life at 27.5" as shown in the pic, it has since been chopped down to 25.5" so I can look over rather than thru.
You look over it? Do you ride standing up?
j/k. ha.
Hey, while I've got you... Can you make this thread a sticky in this section??
Here's my 99 with 50k miles, along with my 97 VFR:

Very nice Dano, I love that color scheme! 8)

Same day?
No, but it would be possible. Interestingly, Paradise Inn on Mt Rainier and Pacific Beach State Park are both 98 miles from my house.
Here mine Im repainting and polishing as we speak Its a 95 262000 on the dash.

Cool, DJ. Can't wait to see it when it is done. 262k? Holy smokes!
Here's my 2001 with a few add ons, the most visible of which are the painted wheels (with rear Mean Streak wheel and rotor). Since these pics I have repainted the lid of the top case again, removed the silver pin stripe, and replaced the Clearview with a Cee Bailey.
My daughter got her cycle license BUT Connie is STILL MINE >:(
I am out making moments and that all that counts.
my o6, thx Steve
can you please tell me the exact rear tire you have on your '06? I like how the sidewall doesn't look as fat as the oem dunlops. also, what exhaust do you have? very nice looking C10. thx
Here's a picture of my just refurbished 2000 C-10. Still have some work to do and accessories to add.
05....34,880 miles, titled today. Trying to adjust to this color.

Welcome!About 200 miles south of Jax, FL, yes. But, for a 2005, I need to do a lot of things seller didn't disclose, before I take a trip, and modify it beyond it's market value, so it's just not going to happen. Not to be all sour grapes, after a couple of days, I'm looking for something else for a ride. Too many issues;
I A$$ume you're in Floriduh, what part? Watch for RTE's in the event section and join up with us. Next one is:

I know. It looks like a bronzed statue, just without all the bird droppings on it.Every one thinks it's from the early 80's!

Every one thinks it's from the early 80's!I never really cared what anyone thinks when it comes down to what I ride. Have you seen this yet?

Finished with it for now except for new windshield. It used to be a very ugly green.
Here's MyConnie on Patterson Pass road last weekend:
I just became a Connie owner of the super clean 2000 with only 7100 miles on her. Not sure how long I will keep her because I am used to my Harley. The seating position for my fat 300 lb ass is a bit uncomfortable. Ordered risers, corbin seat and lowering pegs to see if that helps.

I think the camera in the iPhone does a nice job.
My 2002. I bought it off craigslist in Fairbanks, AK in spring of 2012, with the intention of leaving it in AK and flying home to AZ for the winters.Great first post! Welcome.
I enjoyed riding it so much that summer, that I rode it home to AZ, and it's now my daily rider. Neil
I liked the stormtrooper look...
Credit goes to both me and the girlfriend! :)
I haven't really looked at the fairing extenders, they indeed are standard on EU models (at least, I haven't seen any without around here) I think they screw into the fairing bolts that hold the fairing interior.
I could probably get some for you if you want them. I'm not sure if shipping them overseas would be worth it though!
my 87Digging the mirrors. Interesting foot peg. You may want to consider beefing up the rear rack supports or doing the "cutting board mount" or something similar.
another pic from the Cherohala Skyway, just outside of Robbinsville NC.
Thanks so much! They key fob I got with the bike is from the COG.. maybe the original owner is still hanging around :D
Sweet looking bike, how do you find the delkeviks..
