I felt like I was back in middle school watching one of the myriad of reel films

I didn't find any errors in anything they said.  As far as safety- those ancient bikes scare me to death... crappy handling, brakes, suspension, tires, helmets, lights, reliability.... just generally crappy!

The cars of the day also had crappy braking systems..so I guess it evened out.

Can't believe none of you mentioned Peter Fonda or Evel Kneivel  being in the video.  Man, I had every Evel Kneivel toy when I was a kid.  We built jumps and sailed over them on our Huffys and Columbias. 

I think I was on some of those roads last week.
