My rear Angel was showing cords after two days of rippin' around in Arkansas this weekend.  I had to buy another Angel since the only other tire that fit was a Shinko (I was just grateful that I was able find a tire and get to continue riding).  I didn't write down the exact mileage when I put that set of Angels on but I know the rear was done before 3,000 miles.  My next set will definitely be a PR2 or PR3 since the slightly better handling isn't worth the severely decreased mileage.  The least amount of miles I have gotten from a PR2 is 5,000.
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

I put Angel ST's on my 2008 when the oem tires wore out. I loved their adhesion in wet or dry. unfortunately a hit and run cager took out that bike. 8 months ago.

so far 8000 miles on the 2012 oem tires with lots of tread left. I would buy another set of Angel's and have already priced them out at local dealers installed for when the stock tires finally get too low.

The PR2s handle just fine in the rain. Before PR3s, everyone raved about the PR2s being great in the rain. Do the 3s handle the rain better? Maybe. You're going to burn up the next set of tires anyway, so why not get either the 2s or 3s then try the other one and see which you like better. you can't go wrong with either.

I found another thing to like about PR3s, they hold air!  In two months I haven't added air and i'm down 2 PSI. Better than any tire I've used before.

I'm finding the same thing. I asked my tire guy on the second set if he was doing anything different such as shooting nitrogen in them, cleaning the rim walls better or just anything because I've never had motorcycle tires hold air consistent like these. The very slight difference in mine I attribute to climate/temp change.

My Angel's seem to be wearing very well, and they handle great. I am going to give the PR2's a try next, the 3's just don't appear to be worth the extra coin IMHO.

I got stuck in a sudden downpour just yesterday, and my new PR3s handled perfectly. water excavation was great, and wet grip was amazing.

Running PR3 on the front and PR2's on the back. A little noiser/more vibration in the front end over the straight PR2 combination but road feel in the rain is definitely better.

Loving the PR3s. I have 15,500 on my front tire and will probably get another 2,000 on it. The rear tires have gotten replaced due to road hazards.

I put on ST Angels after the OEM tires, Loved them-great in the rain and great grip on the road. Only problem I went through a couple of pairs of Angels real fast. Approx 4000-4500 miles. I put on a set og PR2 , love them , I will try the PR3 next.
