Title: Outriggers
Post by: Cold Streak on June 20, 2011, 02:20:31 PM
This thing was parked next to me at the local Home Depot on Saturday.  I can't say I've ever seen them before.  He didn't even need a sidestand.  I wouldn't want them going through the Dragon, or any other road for that matter. :o

I've seen similar that retract at a certain speed.

I saw these at a Cycle World motorcycle show a few years back in Chicago.  They seem like a reasonably priced add-on I could see if someone had medical issues but didn't want to go full trike (look up the price of a full trike conversion  :o )

I'm working on my own design for my 1985 goldwing.
My buddy has arthritis and drops the bike almost every time out, we call him 'the dumpster'

For now the whells are controlled by a switch on the handlebars but I plan on making it automatic at about 5 MPH
