If you don't want to use the screws, the only thing that will adhere plastic to plastic is a good, low heat 2 part epoxy. Just don't over load it. it creats heat when it cures, a little goes a long way.No need for anything other than ABS glue. Your fender and the fender extender are made of ABS. Sand both sides to rough it up a little and glue them together and they will be as one forever.

Thanks all. Good info. I'll go the ABS route.Sure does. 4 bolts on the inside of the fender and the plastic bracket that guides the speedometer cable.
Now a dumb question: will the fender come off without removing the front wheel? I never tried it, but if I have to, no biggie.
