1943: For Operation Tidal Wave five men receive the Medal of Honor: Cols Baker, Johnson, and Kane; Maj Jerstad; 2Lt Hughes.
1950: The Collins-Vandenberg Agreement establishes cooperation between ADC and the Army Antiaircraft Command for air defense of the US.
1961: The AFRES mobilizes five C-124 groups and more than 15,000 reservists in response to the construction of the Berlin Wall.
1969: #USAF begins using broadcasts recorded by a ground radioman and rebroadcast thru airborne loudspeakers in its psyops program in SEA.
