RIP Robin  :(

Not a good week for pop fans, now with the loss of Robin Gibb after a long battle with cancer.
A friend of mine used to play in a group with Andy Gibb (Robin's brother) at the Peveril (on the corner of Douglas Promenade) in the Isle Of Man, how time flies.

My all time favorite Bee Gees song was Saturday Night Fever which is still popular after 40 years since release.

Yes he is the last of the Brother's Gibb. They had it going on there for awhile. It sounds like from all reports that I've read that undiagnosed Colon Cancer got him. I know a lot of guys on this board are 50 plus. If you have been putting off your colonoscopy don't. It's the gold standard for diagnosing Colorectal Cancer. Folks gripe about the prep but believe me it's a very, very small price to pay for peace of mind.

It is a little surprising that he died only because a couple of weeks ago they were talking about him being a miracle the way he was making a comeback from the cancer.

Thanks Jay,
It has not been a good month for me but can't say I understand until the full details are known. Blood work is up the wall and after the surgery I have gone a little South, so to speak.
Anyway, you lot keep me amused so what else do I need!

Jon.

Good luck Jon. I had a colonoscopy a couple of years ago and it was a piece of cake, the procedure it self I mean. The prep on the other hand was not so easy!    :o
