How to mount a pair of Kermits
« on: December 26, 2011, 07:52:44 PM »
Ok guys, my wife to be and I came out of Christmas with a pair of Kermit chairs.  Couldn't be happier!!
Here's the problem, how am I going to get them both on the bike?
08 C14 with all 3 stock bags (full), and both seats taken.
Has anyone come up with some slick ideas?
each chair is 4x6x22 packed.

I have a rack on top of my Givi E52 and use Rok straps to hold them on.

That thought had crossed my mind.  I have the Kawi case, which is a Givi Monolock but I can't see why the rack wouldn't mount to it.
Thanks for the input.

I'm curious about this as well.  I'm a little leery of adding another 10.6 pounds on top the already high and overstuffed top case.  The thought had passed my mind to secure them under the left saddlebag.  I haven't got beyond thinking about the idea yet.

I was looking under the left bag as well, thought about hollowing out a stock pipe as a storage tube,,but I don't think 2 chairs would fit in it.

I have loaded mine "to the gills" without a problem.
