This years vacation was for me a national park tour. It started with Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches and Rocky Mountain NP. The trip was not without issues. A torrential rain squall with large hail in the Rockies did wonders for my appreciation of new Dunlops and a CeeBailey windscreen. The return trip was through the Rockies to the Great Sand Dunes NP. Finally a late nite desert run back to SoCal to close out the trip. Nine days of riding, 2950 miles, six national parks a handful of national monuments and a whole lotta two lane back country.

Nice pix. Did you know the hiker heading to the arch?

the hiker turned out to be a German Photographer. I didn't go any farther in as i was wearing riding boots and was having traction issues
