Met up with a friend who wanted to take a shakedown ride on his GL1500 and we found a neat little place in La Junta, CO for lunch...got back home just after dark...yikes!...it was 40 degrees and falling fast!
-
Now that's a RTE!
Hope it was fun and good food. Check your fuel economy?
-
Food was good...a sit down Country Fried Steak meal for $7...but...you know how the roads are on the Kansas side of I-25...pretty flat, straight, and boring...add in feed lots...and the smell of used hay...you'll get the idea...I came back up CO 71 to Limon and back across 86 to Castle Rock... :)
Fuel...no...haven't checked yet...wanted to get home and warm up!

Anybody doing another ride this weekend before the single digits hit next week?
-
Yes :-[
Wife says I need an intervention...at least, I think that's what she said...
Told her I would go out for a ride this weekend and look for one...

Got something in mind? Have you heard from Connie Mark, or DonB?

Not yet...no...and no.

Well Personally, I'm Game for just about anything, other than another run in with the Sheriff up in Victor. I don't need to push that button again.

Tim;
Well if it wasn't Thanksgiving, I would have had a ticket for sure. But the Sheriff let me off with a verbal. Lucky me for sure.
