D80 took a dive so I am moving towards the Nikon D7000

Whadaya think?

the 7100 is the new kid on the block and the $$$$$$ is way more than the 7000. 
Looking forward to snapping some pics in AZ and UT ;D  I may send the D80 Jays way so he can get better pics.  Only issues are action pics, the shutter button is starting to take naps, which is not good.
Comments, thoughts?

I have a D80 as my throw around, had a D7000 and sold it.

Suggestion, look at the full frame DSLR's for a couple of bux more.  I have the D800, no need to go that crazy but a few extra bux on the D600 over the D7000 and you will be HAPPY HAPPY!

Have a D90. Looked at the 7100 but the minor "improvements" just weren't worth it to me. I think my next one will be full frame. Its hard to beast a D90. Look how long they made em
