Read em and weep gents.. Naturally Aspirated, (with no ram air to help things along) real world numbers on a dyno with nothing to be gained by the operator. Free run for miltary appreciation day No torque numbers, whadaya expect for free I did throw the operator a tip, he did way more than a spin up. Throttle response is as crisp as anything, I even found myself looking for 7th gear as the butt dyno was saying shift
Full AreaP, BMC filter, PCV, Auto tune. 54,700 miles, ZX14 TBs. 175 was in 5th gear.
I'm downloading a Youtube vid as I type, but here is a pic of the printout.
Nail. Got lucky, didn't puncture tire, surprised it stayed in!!
175MPH means nothing since your not pushing through the air. There's nothing wrong with having some bragging rights...
175MPH means nothing since your not pushing through the air.Kinda agree, I was more interested in how a nail stayed in at that speed and the potential for how much speed she has. Being as it was a static test there was no benefit from ram air, which is a fair amount of added power.
There's nothing wrong with having some bragging rights...Yuppers!! Advanced Street Skills is just around the corner, I've never been to the Ridge Raceways in Shelton, should be a lot of fun
VERY nice C!Thankee C
The way my rear tire attracts nails, that nail would have somehow punctured my tire twice.
Love it when a potential puncture goes sideways through a tread block! Not sure how that happened, but I'll take the good fortune
How the does that happen?
Oh, nice numbers!
yup,my c10 did 178 in 5th with a 7th gear upgrade. You have the ZX14 TBs? I'm wondering how to free up more incoming air and maybe velocity stacks to help smooth out the power curve, which isn't bad, but that big plateau needs attention
My c14 is @ 161.3hp with a very similar setup.
Being as it was a static test there was no benefit from ram air, which is a fair amount of added power.
Crank the volume!![youtube link]
The 158, is that the stock, before mods power reading?

The 158, is that the stock, before mods power reading?Unfortunately no, that is with TwoBros system but without mapping done and without the flies removed - though it does match Kawasaki Australia's stock claim of 118kw/158hp
Is that rw hp or crank hp number?
Max power with RAM Air 118.4 kW {161 PS} / 8,800 rpm
