Nutnfancy's son has a motorcycle accident
« on: June 02, 2014, 11:59:23 AM »
Just sort of a reference with regards to ATGATT. I must admit that I do not wear motorcycle boots or shin guards. Other than that I always wear my helmet, gloves, jacket and either a pair of hiking boots or work boots.

I didn't always wear motorcycle specific boots, after seeing an injury they would have prevented, I do now.....always. Glad he survived, that terrain could have made it much worse.

About 20 years ago I wrecked on a bike in some ankle height Nike hikers, I busted my leg in 3 places, 1 compound, lost a bunch of skin on my ankle, now I always wear full race boots when riding.

I think the problem was braking IN the corner , not his foot wear, but yeah I always wear high boots.
