I've also come to realize this.

Expecting anyone dumb enough to do this to a truck to adjust their headlights to keep from blinding others with their stupidity would be asking too much.

I'm thinking that with the angle of lift that their headlights are going to go over everyone's head anyways, except maybe big rigs.

I just came back from a two week vacation (my wife's vacation not mine since I'm retired  :) ) visiting the Mouse in Florida.

We drove the RV down. I was really amazed at the number of Jesus Saves (and similar) billboards down south. I have to wonder just how many folks have been 'saved', converted, and/or helped in any way shape or form by these ads? My guess is ZERO.

Why do these churches waste their parishioners money on this? That money would be WAY better served helping folks who really need help instead of these 'feel good' billboards.

Does Jesus really need to be advertised? If so better call Don Draper.

I spoze Florida is one end of the Bible Belt, although I've generally felt like that term was more intended for LA, AR, MS, AL and into GA.

Prob about the same as any advertising: The more you get eyeballs looking at your message, the better you do. Do you see a Coke billboard and think, 'What a waste, that's not going to make anybody drink a Coke'? I'm sure Coke thinks it will  ;)

My buddy back in CO was having breakfast this morning when he hears a big thump. He goes outside and there is a burning caracas of an airplane across the street.

Something you just can't "unsee"

Although, interestingly, scientists are working on actual (for real) traumatic memory event erasure.  Right now they have it working for certain phobias.

I think that is probably only temporary, though.

Vodka and heroin allowed me to bury a lot of memories for several years. I sincerely do NOT recommended that course of action.
God does not subtract from a man's life the number of hours spent riding a motorcycle

2008 C14, Muzzy exhaust, PCV, heated grips, Sergeant seat, PR4 GTs, Donovan headlight mod, Ronnies highway pegs, Cox rad guard, "The Big Rack", Grip Puppies, XM, many more made by me parts to come.....

Saw this headline: "Trump defends loyalty pledges at rallies, ‘surprised’ by Hitler comparisons"  and found it pretty amazing. Clearly they are very different- Hitler had a mustache....

Saw this headline: "Trump defends loyalty pledges at rallies,

Did he?  He is extremely AGAINST loyalty pledges and was instrumental at getting it taken off the Virginia primaries (which is a good thing).

I guess it depends on who's the pledger and who's the pledgee.
