Haven't had a day off yet this month so I'm dashing out to LA for the weekend. Did oil change and quick clean up. I aim to misbehave on the way there, while I'm there, and on the way back. Volume up, hammer down.

I did an oil change as well. There is enough oil left to do one more change before switching over to the  Delvac 15-40.  But for now it's the Lucas 10-30 synth bike oil.
Also changed the final drive fluid with the synthetic 75-90 gear oil.
Put the bike close to where I wanted to park it, and put it on the centerstand. Then I scooted it in the final position. The bike stand caught traction, and tipped my direction, but I muscled it upright and put the beotch in her place. 6 years of ownership with no drops, wasn't going to change today.

I had every intention of riding the C14 today, and as I readied, realized that the 650R hadn't been out in a good while.  Not as element protective, but at 230lbs less weight, it gladly got tossed around the back roads, instead of the 14.  Great fun, and the 14 is scheduled for a day long ride on Sunday.

A safe and fun weekend to all, riding or not.  tomp

Thanks, Homie.
I got it used, and it was scratched up pretty good. I scuffed it up and painted it with some Cummins diesel engine paint. It still looks awesome over 5 years later. It looks factory.
I like the sound of it too. 8)
I also repacked it before I installed it. The previous owner took half of the packing out to make it louder. Not a pleasant sound.

I speed tested the Madstad brackets. All is good to 127 mph, per GPS. Shut it down at that point as was coming up on a kink.

Finished wearing out the rear tire and blew out a fork seal.

This is excellent! I ride to work every day here in Austin. People think I'm nuts because when I leave the house at 6:30, many days it's in the low 30's. I tell them it's actually balmy.

It was in the 40's for most of the 350 miles I rode yesterday. 50-60 degrees colder than I prefer. Thank God for heated clothes and grips!

Rode it home from work yesterday in 47* temps, filled gas tank, washed all the salt off and put it in the garage.

1600 miles on it so far and it's now cleaner than when I picked it up last November.

Had lots of light dust on it from sitting in the dealership for so long.  (2014 purchased in Nov. 2015)

Joe, which color 2014 do you have?
The red (Fastest color) or the black?  <grin>
