My bets are on 'target'....  Can't see anyone making it into a shrine and if they do, I'm sure that the FBI would like to know about it.

Not to start anything and firmly playing devil's advocate, anybody has every right to erect or place anything within the law and local ordinances and cemetery rules on that site as much as anything placed on the side of the road you see where people have died, like flowers, pictures, stuffed animals,etc..., some on private property, some not. I'm sure the cemetery realizes this and is ready for it if it happens. I'd be willing to bet its an unmarked grave, the location unknown until a worker realizes he or she can make money selling that info to a media outlet.

I really have been on the fringes following this but after not following religious dictates concerning Muslim burial, why not cremate him and send his remains to his family or just discreetly dispose of them in a way no one can trace and is not publicized?

Like that idea too, it was good enough for Bin Laden.

But was bin Laden actually buried at sea? It was about the 3rd or 4th time he had been caught.

Was the cause of his death ever disclosed? 'T'would be nice if it was because his brother ran him over - just hoping.

I'm thinking he bled out due to multiple gunshot wounds.
