I was raised in a cult. One who named such dates. 1974 in prophecy came and went. The cult members were blamed for "not being ready" I read one story about a young couple who buy the 21st of May crap, they actually sold everything. Rented an apartment and budgeted every dime so they will be completely out of cash and belongings on the 21st. It's just sad to me. I was raised to not think for myself and to believe everything the crazy prophet said. It takes a long damn time to get over this kind of stuff and sometimes some never do. My mother and my sister do not speak to me because they believe a date namer and I do not believe anyone. I have not seen my sis, mom or 4 nieces and nephews in over 5 years. All because of these same kind of people. Some times when you teach 4 year olds something is real, it is hard for the grown 4 year old to over come that.

As a matter of fact, I will be at the Dallas Zoo most of the morning with my family, eating breakfast and then watching the animals eat their breakfast. Zoos are neat with young kids!

I like how everyone says the Mayan calendar ENDS there... Nonono. It keeps going. The calendar didn't stop December 2012, that day was just the end of a cycle or something. I swear people are so dumb sometimes...
NASA also proved how all of the claims are false about December 23 or 21 or whatever...
And if you want to get all religious about it (Not a shot at anyone. :) ), the Bible says that no man can guess when it will happen. So keep on guessing. ;)

I thought October was the original prediction. He said earth quakes would start at 6 Pm local time on the May date. Rapture would happen and then the left behind of us would suffer till october when the world would end. I personally think he is right. I am in extreme high risk for tornados again today .... You never know the time of your personal end I guess.... when it is your time. It's your time. I think its always been that way duh. That guy is an idiot. but I did leave some kind messages on the "contact us" part of his website. I wish everyone would do that to shut down his site at least.

I would not hate someone just because that person do not have the same belief as I do, as long as he/she is a stand up & honest person. Where is the love and forgiveness...I do not see anything about Christ in that...

It takes a special mentality to buy some of the stuff a cult sells. Mostly based in fear for yourself and what will happen to you if you don't do what your told. Not Love for anyone else. They were told to cut off contact with me... The story is long and difficult to explain and is based on the date I was "baptised" in relationship to their cult leaders sons date of baptism.... but, they really believe if they don't do what the man tells them, they will not be counted as the select few when the time comes. Your right, SAD. There are more of these types of "end of days" Churches than most people hear about. Most just go unnoticed.
