finding people and addresses are part of what I do. :) The info I have for him is correct. I'm not sure he will want to talk, I'll try.

All I know is that he's had some health issues.

That's what I heard as well. Rather serious but I thought that he was expected to recover...

*Update* Closing in on an address. Some confusion of phone numbers though. Looks like he really wanted to drop off the map. Going to do some more but will respect his privacy, he has to know I'm looking for him.

I hope you find him in good health and please ask him to come and chat here. I miss the man. I learned more about this bike from him than anyone else anywhere.

I never knew what happened on the other forum or your fb group, but I always liked his no pussy attitude and his endless knowledge on these and many other bikes.

I will. I'm not all sure what transpired either, I know it wasn't pretty. Rich can sometimes come across differently than some people can handle, sign of the times. I think with that forum and FB page being the face and identity of COG with all it's legal ramifications came into play, some did not like Rich's way of posting, or maybe there was an incident or comments. That's my take, unless someone PM's me and lays it all out, it's what I'm reading between the lines. I tried to contact him last year before all the troubles to get his story.  My thread over there was locked as a few posters mentioned his treatment by the FB page, essentially COG, I hope that doesn't happen here.

Strawboss, I hope it doesn't happen here either.

I was kinda shocked when the thread on the COG forum got locked so fast.  I didn't find anything that was said to be so bad that it needed to be locked.

Gave me the impression that someone may have made a mistake at one time with Rich and was trying to hide it.  That's just my impression.

He contributed to both of these forums an incredible amount and helped countless people go get their bikes going.

I've tried leaving messages on his phone and got no Call backs.
Asked friends that might have heard from him.
No one knows anything.

Ride safe, Ted

You might try contacting Guy Young.  They used to work together, and he might still be in touch with MOB.

Not sure what rule # 3 is but okay.

It is a rule that governs what you can say publicly on, in or outside of club social media settings. Sanctions can be severe, there is no established method of appeal, and all sales are final.

Exactly the kind of rule Rich would have a hard time dealing with.

Please let it be known that I am not disagreeing with the the content or intent of rule 3, or any actions, real or imaginary,  that have been taken as a result of perceived violations of said rule.

COG's power is absolute and any member can face the wrath of Rule #3 for posting something negative about COG online? Yeah, sounds like a fine organization.

I just did a search for COG's rule 3. Maybe this is an old list?
