I did not know McCullough wrote a book about the Brooklyn bridge- fantastic! I will have to grab a copy. I am a big fan of McCullough and an even bigger fan of the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the few truly magnificent engineering feats that I am aware of.

Brian

Just finished reading "The Great Bridge" By David McCullough about the building of the Brooklyn Bridge.   Also read his book "John Adams", also a good read.

I sometimes read two books at once, I'll be starting "Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest" this week. I've been searching for months for that book, finally found it in hardback for $2 at a Goodwill store.

The series, A Song of Ice and Fire. Hooked... Half way through A Feast of Crows.
If it can't be fixed with a hammer you can sure as hell teach it a lesson.

Berlin : The downfall...1945 by Anthony Beevor

As writing goes this one would be hard to top

Read it before and gave the book away... Just picked up a hardback copy at a boot sale for 20p. That will be about 30 cents  ;D

Trunks? Although, the best I saw was a "GROJ" sale, this was way before the awful spelling of the younglings nowdays and their texts. It meant Get Rid Of Junk sale. ;D All my books are from sales, Goodwill, Salvation Army, resale stores, I never buy new, and I never buy hardback unless theres no other way around it, maybe once every 5 years or so.

I thought it may have been arguments, but that's down the hallway.
