absotively purty day on the blue ridge. broke my wrist halfway thru the ride and had to git a cast the next day but definitely worth the ride  :doh:

yeah i finished. didn't realize the wrist was broken until i went to a clinic the next day for x rays. just hurt like the dickens. i live about 70 miles from the closest entrance to the parkway. the section from boone to cherokee is my favorite. there is also a local road hwy 421 between mountain city tn and bristol tn known as the snake. lots of twisities and beautiful scenery and a store and the crossroads where you can get a fried bologna sandwich..can't get much better. if you are ever in the area my treat..

I like fried bologna. I've never seen it in a resturant.

gotta remember to cut the notch in it so it don't get all curled up on ya. offer stands if you are in my neck of the woods my treat. :chugbeer:

x-cut in the middle and three pie cuts around the outside edge  :)
