Aftermarket Decibel Comparison?
« on: May 20, 2011, 08:43:13 AM »
Has anyone run across an aftermarket exhaust decibel comparison?  I would love to add some horsepower but not interested in making the bike too much louder.  My Buell ruined loud pipes for me.  I got really tired of having ringing ears and headaches.
My parts are forged with voodoo curses and unicorn tears.

I don't know about the others but Area P's slip-on is at least twice as loud as the stocker at idle but once into the upper RPM range it's the same.

Leo Vince has a graph on  their web page, compares their muffler to stock, with and without the "silencer".

And everyone around you will thank you too...

(To me, powerful also has to mean QUIET.  Of course, I am in the minority; but at least less so in the Concours realm.)
