;D :grouphug: :chugbeer:

Yep, I have the Top Block rear sliders on my 09 and they fit just fine, from what I heard the reason they say they won't work on the 08/09 is because of the Kawi stock potato launcher, but if yer running an aftermarket pipe (like you should be) then you'll be just fine.  :)

Any idea if I could easy swap out a stock 08 exhaust slip on for a 2010+? I really want as quiet as possible and would like to run the TB swingarm sliders. Thanks ZG for ALL the past pics, helped me jump on the TopBlock kit even though WAY more than I really wanted to spend. I have the weekend to consider the wheel sliders. Only about $30 more than the other options I have seen for the front/rear set.

Don't thank him, he'll just spend more of your hard earned money if you do that!  :rotflmao:

Congrats on going the Top Block route.

As for your pipe question, sorry I can't recommend any stock pipe and feel good about myself...  :-\

I wish there was a pipe that looked nice (not the huge cannon we get, stock) but that didn't sound ridiculous.  I'd actually prefer to be quiet.

Sorry p07r0457, I was being a little sarcastic. I have an Area P carbon slip on and not only does it look nice, it sounds ridiculous (in a VERY good way). I don't know why everyone assumes these slip ons are so loud. The only time this muffler is loud is when I'm really getting on it. Other than that it's relatively tame.

I don't know why everyone assumes these slip ons are so loud.

Because that is the main objective for MOST people (not necessarily on THIS board, though) and many, if not most, of the products tend to tailor to it.  You know, because if it sounds loud, it is "impressive" and so therefore it performs so much better  ::)

The crowd here seems more interested in the weight savings and better looks, thankfully.

Ok, then buy the bike.  Take the pipe off and throw the bike away..  Kinda expensive for a can though... ::)
