Why you selling?  Several TM's for sale recently. Do they not work as expected, too much hassle to use.....?

Well, I am selling because I traded in my C14 on a new Goldwing.  They work well, and help to tame vibrations.  However, they take some getting used to in  regards to operation of them.  Its a little difficult to lock them without changing your speed, so I usually fine tune my speed after it is locked.

I sold mine because for some reason, it made my left side vibe at a certain rpm that was not their with the stock ends and also, it's fairly hilly on most of my travels and I had to constantly make minor adjustments which was annoying.

I've put TM's on every bike I've owned since '98, including the '10 C14.  Never an issue, always a great accessory.

Mine worked just fine on the C14.  I never noticed any additional vibrations.

As for using them, it's just a matter of readjusting your hand, then sliding over and rotating the TM with the right side of the hand.  Once you figure out the technique, there shouldn't be any rpm or speed dropping while locking it into position.  I always wear gloves when riding, so never tried it gloveless, but that might be a possible reason for having issues.

My reason for selling was because I sold the bike twice over -  used originally on the c14, then bought an adapter to use the c14 kit on the fz1, finally sold the fz1 too.  Btw, adapter still available :)

What rpm was that?

It was maybe between 3700-4000 and would disappear above that. I lived in that rpm mostly so didn't work out. I do have Murphs risers and wedges and hot grips so YMMV. All is smooth with the stock ones back on.

I just installed a set of these. They worked as expected and the feeling is different than the original bar ends. Only one ride and can't say they are better or worse, just a different dampening. I like them.
