TechSpec Gripster Tank Grips
« on: June 04, 2012, 11:01:42 PM »
I am looking for feedback on TechSpec Gripster Tank Grips. I have an '11 C14 and my tank is getting really scuffed up from my kevlar riding pants. Thanks in advance for any thoughts...

Just put them on my '12 and they are awesome.  I put on the Snake Skin and they are super grippy.  I don't know about the other 2 options but I am very happy with mine!

After a year with film on the tank the texture felt like it helped with feedback and control of the bike.

Just walked in the house from installing these on my 2012. Went with the snake skin version. Went to techspec's web site and printed out the photos of the Concours so I knew what piece went where.
Put the center piece on first and then the sides. Had to remove the center to reposition it.
Suggest you put on all the side pieces first then center the center piece so it is evenly spaced.

Great product. In addition to protecting tank, they boost grip when you squeeze the tank with your legs.
