Size of the peg feeler threads? Titanium Feelers.
« on: February 15, 2012, 05:21:50 PM »
Anyone know what thread size I need for the peg feelers?  Mine are long gone so I can't check and I am thinking about titanium feelers for some new pegs that Tyler is hooking me up with.

Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

Did you check it with a nut or did you find that info posted where I couldn't?

M6 x 1.0 is correct. I just measured mine as well. Oddly enough, I think a set of these may have been ordered....http://secure.billydump.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=274   for educational purposes only.

How did this thread wind up in Accessories?  Since when is the size of a bolt not a technical question?

since we all started looking for titanium bolts so we could throw sparks......
and that IS an accessory... 8)

I'd suggest using 2 of these nuts, locked together on an ordinary socket allen setscrew, and inserted....it will allow you to replace them easier, and they will last longer.....

Jeremy, is the intent of this to install Titanium feelers?  Am assuming that this thread may morph into that or is it strictly what the bolt size is?

Yes, I wanted to know what would fit since my pegs were ground down to where there were no feelers or threads.
