Dude, Walter White made that ride awesome again.
I hate that car as much as Walt Jr. loves breakfast. And that's a lot.
But the car wasn't really ever that awesome.
I think my top 5 ugly cars of the past 10 years goes as follows:
Aztec
Prius (Generation 1, 2 and 3. It doesn't matter. Generation 1 looks like an Echo.)
Chrysler PT Cruiser
Chrysler Prowler
Chrysler Crossfire (hardtop)
Honerable Mentions:
Nissan Juke because it's ugly.
Toyota Camry (Any year) because it's styling is soooo bland and performance so wretched.
Toyota Corolla (Any year) because it's styling is almost as bland as the Camry, but the performance is more than lacking.
Hyundai Sonata (1996-2010) because it's bland but not as boring to drive as say... A Camry.
Honda Civic because it's bland, boring and although it's never meant to perform, rice boys seem to think it's some sort of Mustang ripping bad-ass for a car after they put a feaux hood scoop here, a fart canon there and a boeing 747 wing on the rear and that "teh V-TEC, yo" is some sort of gift from the Flying Spaghetti Monster, even though it's just a fancy word for Variable Valve Timing, something many new cars use. Sadly, I have to go to school with these kinds of people.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Sonata, Camry, Corolla and Civic because they do the job they're supposed to do: get from A to B with great gas mileage, but what I don't like is all the wonderful things people say about these cars and that they're not what they COULD have been. I KNOW Toyota has the ability to do so much more than make a bland 4 door car that is about as fun to drive as, well, a Camry. And Honda, for God's sake, they make killer bikes, why not make some killer 2/4 door cars that re quick and get great gas mileage? I know they can do it.
Hyundai has stepped up their game (look at the 2011 Sonata and the Genesis), and I applaud them.
