'Stich Roadcrafter 48L
« on: August 08, 2011, 04:20:47 PM »
This has been coming for a long time.  I have a Roadcrafter one-piece that I want to sell.  It's in good shape and everything is working as it should.  The suit is clean and ready to go.  When I purchased the suit I added the back-protector and hip pads.  I can't remember if they were an option or not, but the suit has knee pads as well.  Just as a reference I normally wear a 48L suit jacket and the suit is sized to wear clothes underneath it.  I'm 6'4", 250 lbs with a 38 waist and the suit has always fit very well.  I'm looking to get $400 plus actual shipping.  Thanks.  Any questions, justl let me know.  Muffler not included.

No one as freakishly tall as I am?  I might be able to work on price a little, but just remember that's half of what I paid for it.  Actually less than half.

I am 2 inches shorter than you and I would love to try it on when I get out to your place.  But my wife would kill me if I came back $400 lighter in the wallet, especially since I just bough new boots, pants, and a jacket.

All ya gotta do is tell her it is much safer and it will also extend your riding season, easily saving you the money spent in less gas burned ;)

That's a SMOKIN DEAL!!!  Hip pads and back pads are extra, I know recently bought the 2 piece, with adds and shipping (yes they charge shipping for a $1000 plus suit)  $1200+!

I paid $1k for this when new.  Heck, it's in close to new condition.  One of the board members even remarked how clean it looked the last time I rode with him.  I've had it for about five years, but two of that it was in storage while I was in Iraq.  Since then I've only worn it a few times.

I may have to resort to eBay.  Ugh!

I wonder how difficult it would be to shorten up?  Someone snap this up, I'm still using the one I bought from TCro, so I'll attest to how good these suits are, 'specially for those of us who actually ride year round :)

I would think it'd be pretty hard to do.  But I'm not tailor.  It's on eBay right now and it looks like it's going to sell.  I hope my helmet does the same.  That's what I really want to get rid of.

what's the item number on ebay?  I'm 6'4" and 230 and have a 38" waist.
