Final drive oil fill cap
« on: April 04, 2012, 08:32:17 PM »
Is there a different one available?  The slot to remove it is really hard to use and I ruined a new crush washer removing it the last time.  I wish they would have molded a handle on it like the motor oil fill cap.

I use one of those gimme open end wrenches that you get for free with something else I bought. It's the right thickness to fit into that slot.

it's the same as the oil.  You can find replacements on eBay too.  I have anodized aluminum ones on mine.

I use a big washer and a pair of pliers to turn the washer.
