My dad has been gone since 1995, so I'm reminiscing about him today.

I'm playing golf with my dad today, then when I get home mama and my girls are making me a big lasagna feast, good times!  :)

My Father's Day present:

Very Special to me because it was made for me by my stepson who skinned and cured the band from a Canebrake Rattler I killed in our back yard. Wishing you all such a special gift today!

The first one I killed ended up that way but I decided the skins are too pretty to waste. Rattlers are too tasty as well. We had this one for dinner.

I had a great Father's Day weekend.  Wife and I took the kids to our annual Hershey Park trip Saturday. Then Sunday morning/afternoon I got to sit around and eat grilled hamburgers and plenty of fresh fruit at my wife's family's.  Along with the great food, I got to ride my first Goldwing.  That in itself was a great present.  And then off to my parents for dinner.  Grilled bbq porkchops, corn on the cob, cucumbers and onions in vinegar, and plenty more fruit.  Off to the gym today.
