Radio Shack has been a source for a number of electronic/electrical knick knacks I've bought over the years, so I personally will be sad to see them go. I even owned/played around with a TRS-80 back in the day, doing my own memory upgrade to said TRS-80 using memory chips I bought off of Radio Shack's shelves... upgrading from 4K to 16K was a really big deal back then. These days, 16K is laughably tiny...
In fact, just last week I needed a 300 ohm antenna cable to dual terminal end thingie (building a DIY HDTV antenna). Home Depot (at least the one in my area) didn't have one, so I went to the local Radio Shack.

I'll be sad to see Radio Shack gone too.
My first computer was a Tandy 1000ex. The day I brought it home my wife and I stayed up nearly that entire night playing Leisure Suit Larry.
