Title: WTT Kawa for Kawa
Post by: bowtie39 on July 05, 2011, 04:13:38 PM
Am past and present Connie owner.  Want to acquire another to get my brother mounted and on the road.  But instead of a outright purchase I have something to barter with.

Have owned a 81 KZ1000 LTD for approx. 2 1/2 years.  It was a clean running bike then and since I have rebuilt brakes, replaced rubber on both sides of carbs, tires, and maybe a few other items as needed and just tinkered with it.  I do ride it just to keep it perky.

It does have a Vetter Windjammer IV fairing and the original headlight goes if the Vetter is taken off.  Also some misc parts are included.

To do a trade I would like to keep as close to even as possible but certainly would compensate if someone has a Connie valued higher.  As far as my value of the LTD, I would be asking 2000.00 and bargain from there.

Additionally, have to keep this transaction within reason concerning location.  I won't travel 5 states away to get this done.  Hey I'm getting grouchy in my old age!  And I wouldn't expect anyone to go that far either unless they just want to make the trip to central Texas.    ;D

Just contact if interested.

Roger

Throw some soft bags over the rear of the seat and let him take off!

Might help if you would state where you are located.

Did mention Central TX in first post but more specifically it's Bryan Texas.

I contemplated some Leatherlykes for storage but the trips taken only needed a tank bag.  Also came close to a set of Vetter bags to match fairing.
