Title: Help oil leak
Post by: Jet86 on January 01, 2015, 05:25:06 PM
This just started not long ago but i don't know what this part is but it has a allen slot and looks like that's where the oil is coming from, why? and how to fix? is there a failing gasket behind that?.

That is a plug that retains the shaft that your cam followers pivot on.  There is an O-ring behind it (you should be able to get this from an auto parts store, or you can order it from the dealer, it's about a dollar and is PN 670)

The shaft is not going to come out when you remove the plug, but there will be a fair bit of oil that comes out.

It's normal righty-tightey, lefty-loosey,

I didn't see it on Ron Ayers, but here's the part on Bike Bandit.  The plug is PN 92066, the O-ring is PN 670.
