Theres plenty of wire for different mounting options. I cut some off to get rid of the extra. I drilled a small hole next to the hinge for the lid, and ran the wire up through the bag, drilling another small hole above the rear hook, then ran the wire to a connector under the seat. Used a couple pieces of duct tape to hold the wire down, following the creases inside the bag to keep the wire out of the way. I'll get a picture for you later.
Actually I was referring to the length of the light itself if it is the exact length or did you bend the light towards the front of the bike ?.
   Thanks

Gotcha! The light is about .5" longer than that small ledge on the underside of the bag. No bending, its mounted flat on that ledge.

Installed Brian's KiPass bypass harness. Hope I never need to use it.

It was also my first foray into taking that little piece of the fairing off. Fred Harmon's videos definitely help in that department. Freakin' plastic is expensive.  :P

This was the flasher i bought: "Purishion 2x Flash Strobe Controller Flasher Module for LED Brake Light Tail Stop Light 12-30V " https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HPSZZXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dxpaybZMK4181

Good information J.R. I assume the second flasher is not really needed? Also, you mentioned some plug under your seat for connecting the new lights. Any reason why the  new lights cannot simply tap into the existing brake/tail light and turn signal wires?

No, the second flasher isn't needed. I may wire it up to my trucks third brake light.

All the wires do tap into the existing brake and turn signal wires. The reason for the plug is to be able to remove the bags. That way I can just just unplug them if I need to take them off, and not mess with any of the connections.

My neglected bike has been sitting for 5 weeks now. The rear tire is half flat, but only on the bottom.

I installed  a Delkevic Slip On and ran wires for grip heaters that should arrive in a few days.

I was in the same boat. 5000 on the Angel GT, 2 plugs and it wasnt doing it for me anymore. Normally end of riding season here but November has been warmest on record. Put a  023 batttalaxe on last weekend. Good to be on two wheels again. Withdrawal is a real thing in the north country.

No riding out here at the moment, its very cold averaging about 2c during the day and if you factor in the wind chill its definitely a minus c figure ...brrrrrrrrr

On top of which we had about 3 inches of snow overnight Tuesday and Wednesday morning so riding the big bike is a no no

Back in the day I would've got an off road bike out of my Rev Shed and gone for a blast, alas I'm past all that kinda stuff these days, and only have the GTR now  ;)
