I used a Marsee magnetic tank bag on mine.   No issues to report.

Honestly, this Kipass system thing scares the ever living crap outta me.

I've never really understood the fear of kipass myself. I have two active fobs, one stays at home & the other in a inside zippered pocket of my riding jacket. Rarely take it out, I use the stove knob key at every fill-up & to open side cases. This has worked for me for the past 14 years & 271,000 miles. They will be many I'm sure that will say the stove knob key will bend & are afraid to use

As for the tank bag thing, I don't think my bike would run without one, mines always mounted. Been using one since the 80's!

I replaced the 08 sandwich warmer with a '10 cover and a tank ring mounted tank bag.
