I finally got my 1985 Concours/Ninja project running again after several setbacks which included a blown engine due to not replacing the rod bolts after a 2mm overbore with ZX11 pistons on 88-89 ZX10B rods and oil burning from wobbling valves elongating the seals because I couldn't resist tear dropping the guides during head porting. Lessons learned.Anyhow, now with a re-ringed stock bore and eBay stock head wearing the GPz900 cams, carbs (Dynojet kit), and Vance & Hines advanced ignition timing plate she's not as spooky explosive as before but still fast enough and much more controllable. Yesterday after having it inspected I pulled out onto the four lane road with enough throttle to induce a power slide which was easily recovered from.
I saw it today. 80% sun covered here. It was strange- clear sky, sun shining, looked mostly normal, except not as bright and the direct sun was not that hot. The eyes will adjust, making the 80% loss of light barely noticeable.Used the special filters and it looked like a crescent moon (a co-worker had a safe pair she was letting people look).Might be the most solar eclipse I ever see in my lifetime.
Here is a different view of the eclipse https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/fulldisk_band.php?sat=G16&band=GEOCOLOR&length=24

That's a helluva writeup. I'm going to have to remember that for when I finally decide to add a C10 to the stable.
HelloThat’s not complicated if you’re a handyman http://berna1201.over-blog.com/2021/09/avance-d-echappement-pour-gtr-1000-modifie1.html@+Bernard
Any body know where I can get one, shoodaben doesn't seem to be selling them anymore. If anybody wants to donate one to a new c10 owner It would be much appreciated.
That kinda proves that MCs are allowed without toll on hot lanes... I do look at my transactions occasionally and I've never seen a bill for using the bike on them or HOV for that matter.
i have the set minus one cd make me an offer
