My wish list is huge, but takes a back seat to the most important planned farkle of 2012 - A trip to the National!

I have a bunch of farkles from my 86 that need to go on the 01. I am going to get Murphs extra fuse block, move my HID light over, install my stick coils, install cruise (have issues to figure out first, install Steve's ex cam sprocket and move my 2 min mod over. Send bowls in to get tubes installed, and get some new heated grips. Oh, need to decide if I am going to keep the new Givi on or go with my rifle base and homebrewed shield.

She's getting a heated home.  Starting to insulate the garage and putting heat in it just for her.  She's also going to get a tune up and new brakes as soon as the garage is done. :)

Heli bars once I get them back from being powder coated. A trip to the National is already planned and reserved. The rest is more maintenacse than farkles. I may cut the fork springs and add PVC spacers and go with 10 weight oil. I really want to get myself into an MSF experienced course...

C-14 engine! And a frame to match ;)

Purt near done farkling though. Race-Tech emulators, Progressive rear shock, EBC rotors (stock fitment size), Murphs heated grips, Murphs Hella upgrade light, Murph's PnP fuse block, SiSF's advance sprocket (his cam is on shelf waiting for the 'right' time). Bought a new helmet and boots last year, new leathers two years before, gloves every other year.

GPS would be nice, but I know most all the roads in CO, and paper maps work just fine for the few distance trips I do.

A/C would be way kewl, so would a chrome cup holder. But hey, it's a motorcycle ;)

My Mother always said, " If wishes were horses, beggars would ride."   ::)
I wish for these farkles.....
replace h3 auxillary lights with LEDS.
To have Steve is Sunny FLA  redo the carbs.
Mesh riding gear.
Some of that evaporative clothing that you wet and wear to keep me cool in the summer.
New clear nolan face shield.
Some easier method to stay hydrated while riding, such as a camel back.
Front Discs ..so exit stage right....used even.....
Oh and one very important thing....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ so these things can happen.  :)
And a new battery

The main 2012 project is to install a much larger number in the odometer window on the dash.

My wished-for farkles are all routes and destinations (retirement is good).

Having bought one of everything from Murph and TCro, I am going to buy one of everything from SISF - carb work and cams for certain, still on the fence about the 7th gear.

Already done by the end of 2011:

SISF 2MM
SISF overflow tubes
SISF exhaust cam sprocket
Progressive fork springs/15w fork oil

For 2012:
ZZR1200 shock (done two weeks ago)
Make a bracket for my $15 water resistant smartphone mount (for Pandora and GPS)
Pelican topcase w/custom mount
Throttle lock
Resistor for the fuel gauge (I might end up using a potentiometer)

Other than that, I think it's just going to be fixing the little niggles that need attention:
New right side mirror (current one has a flat lens in it  ::))
New clutch slave cylinder (current one has a slow leak)
New clock (current one doesn't work)
New right side grab handle (bungee hook broke off the current one in a "parking incident" in Tennessee)
Straighten the front and rear subframes from said parking incident

To be clear, I did not drop the bike.  I had it on the centerstand on an asphalt driveway at a cabin we were renting.  The right leg of the centerstand sunk into the asphalt and the bike fell over against the supports for the deck. :o

Finish 4 into 1 exhaust system,
followed by; 2 minute Jett Kit, and change cam timing.

Ride safe, Ted

Some of these things mentioned aren't technically farkles, but I will follow along. I want to finish up designing and installing a dash shelf and even install a stereo system. I also want to install the oiled bushings for the rear set. I would also like to have a new seat cover installed and maybe even have it Spencerized. I also want to put in new fork springs and install a couple of drain plugs. I would also like to at least take apart my carbs and do an ultrasonic cleaning.
