Title: Hi from France !

Hello all Concours drivers
I'm 60 from France near Limoges (400km south of Paris), and will buy in a few days a 2000 Concours (GTR here in Europe)
I had 3 of those bikes in 1989, 1992 and 1996, the last with a sidecar. Also a 2014 Concours (GTR)1400 and sold it after a few months because at the time the 100hp french motorcyle engine power limitation castrated the engine at low rpm. In 2017 this stupid law was cancelled as France had to apply european rules (no power limitation)
So back to basics and happy to join the forum !

Welcome Jean-Marc.
Several of us rode in France / {Alps} / etc several years ago with the GCE Club. {GTR Club Europe}
Some of the people we rode with were from France.
After you get your bike, you might want to look them up and ride with them.
They will soon have a Rally called Tour de Twist.
