Hi
« on: October 27, 2011, 05:04:00 PM »
I wanted to stop by and say hello. I have been a bike rider for over 50 years. I have decided to no longer suffer my two local BMW dealers and am excited to be purchasing a new Concours. Researching this forum cost me several thousand dollars as I discovered the differences in the new bikes over the '09 I was considering. Oh and this isn't my first Kaw, being a 350 Big Horn and H2 survivor. The resources on this site have encouraged me enjoy this bike after falling out of love with my latest RT.

Welcome! Now, get a new seat, windshield, risers, grips, shifter bearing kit and start complaining about or praising KIPASS and you'll be all set.  ;D

Enjoy the ride!  I'm also a Bighorn veteran.  Sadly mine was stolen when I was in 11th grade.

Especially the second one. One hasn't experienced caution until their right hand was on the throttle of a Kaw 3 cylinder two stroke waiting on the power curve.

It seems the fastest model C14, the silver one, will be here tomorrow. Now for the weather to clear out of the north Georgia mountains.

Welcome aboard!  You won't look back trust me!  After the first six months of riding, you won't ever think about your final drive again!  Unfortunately, switching to the Concourse won't end your susceptibility to farkelitis though.  Let the fun begin!  Enjoy your new scoot!
