Title: Rattle from the windscreen mechanism

I have a Cee Bailey's Ultra Tour windscreen installed. Lately I've noticed a very annoying rattle over bumpy roads that is caused by the arms that hold the windscreen. I can reach up and wiggle the whole screen as if the arms are loose in the elevating mechanism within the dash area. Has anyone experienced this loosening and am I headed for a failure?

Doesn't sound good.  You should remove the front cover and take a look at it.  We've had several failures with that unit.

I just did some work on my bike and found couple loose windshield mechanism bolts. You should take the cover off to inspect, also check the arms for signs of stress and cracks, I do recall couple major mechanism failures.
