Baker Built Hand Wings on 2014
« on: November 08, 2015, 06:07:28 PM »
Sadly I do not always follow the logical conclusion when reading year fitment disclosures. The website said that they would not fit 2010-2011 models. Well I have a 2014 so… I decided to see if I could mount them despite my mistake. I was able to come up with a mount, it is not pretty but it is functional. I reversed left and right wings and was able to mount them so they did not obstruct the windshield, mirror fold or the handle bar motion. I am experiencing a positive result. Wind is off my hands and no increased buffeting. I cannot rotate their position this function was lost but they work just fine for winter riding. In the summer undo 2 screws each side and you are back to original. I used plastic spacers to keep the mounts off the plastic.

Best,

Jon
