New Moderator for the C14 boards
« on: October 24, 2014, 05:49:19 AM »
For you C14 guys, I've been somewhat synonymous (had to use spell check on that) with moderation and the C14 boards.  It's been a great run and now Maxtog (Max) has been tasked for the task.  I'm still an admin (had to go look and make sure) and will be floating all over the forum but with less of a prescience than I have been doing.  It's time for someone else to take over those reins and keep an eye on the knuckleheads that make up those ranks.

Please welcome Max to the job at hand.  I know him personally and think he'll do well at it.....he might even try to convert us to Linux (let me know if he try's anything funny like that....seriously).

I want to spend more time working on the C14 FAQ board to make that more useful to the members (assuming that they look at it).  Any helpful and off topic comments appreciated.

I'm not going anywhere so don't get your hopes up. I'll still be around and posting but my moderation efforts will be lessened unless summoned.  I'm aspiring to be like our beloved T so keep that in mind.  Still have the 08 C14 and not planning on giving it up or MCing in general.  Just thought it was time for a change.

I think it's a broadsword.  It feels like one.  Better for chopping off heads.

Are you a chopper or a lopper? Lopping off heads has a better ring to it.

Lopping brings to mind a scissoring action which I think would be unnecessarily burdensome whereas chopping can be accomplished by any edged implement of sufficient size and weight for the item to be chopped.

Sorry to see you leaving the post Jim but on the other hand I can imagine it gets tiring babysitting the unwashed hoards (read: us).

Glad to hear you are staying around though and hey, maybe now you can get into arguments and let your opinions fly, eh? :-)

Nope.  The boards are going to be managed by him.  He answers to a higher cause.....and it ain't me.

bce?  ??

I have not actually ever used that feature of any forum. I have found it easier / works better for me to just not venture into forums that have a high likelihood of irritation.... sort of like avoiding food one is allergic to I guess. Besides, I only frequent three forums, they are not in any way related to each other and only one is related to motorcycles.
