I want to give mass props to the paint shop that did this project for me, Artistic Auto Body!

Absolutely awesome quality, attention to detail, and great communication all the way through the entire project!

Please do me a favor and throw some likes on their Facebook, they have some pics of my bike on there.

Thanks MC, and agreed! Always give credit and thanks when due, many will be suprised at how much a small thank you comment or small gift of appreciation means to folks that work hard all day (and for many days) on making things right, these folks at Artistic definately did that for me!  :)

Man that looks sweet. I just said last week to one of the sales guy at my local dealership that I wished I could get the C14 in that green. Wow, now I really want mine in that color.

I don't know why the Japanese companies don't take a lesson from Harley and offer up more paint choices.  Even if I have to order the bike and wait until spring to receive it would be worth not having to drop an extra 2000  on a paint job from some unknown painter.  Of course I saved 3000 on the purchase of the '12 connie so if I knew of a good painter I would seriously consider it.  Plus, most insurance companies have a policy to cover the cost of the custom paint as an add on to the bike.

Yep, true TWA! I have Progressive insurance and sent them the paint and install reciepts for this project (approx $4k) and just added that to my existing accessory coverage that I already have with them for only an additional $38 a year!  :)

You could consider incorporating secondary colors/graphics Kawasaki has used over the years:

Yep, I use to have my bikes with State Farm too (we still have our cars, RV, and house with them) but I switched the bikes over to Progressive last Fall because State Farm doesn't offer accessory coverage, and I've got far too much $ into accessories to risk a total loss and only get a check for a stock used C14.  :(

FWIW I now have my accessory coverage on my ZG set at $22k (you can actually go up to $35k) and it only costs me an extra approx $150 a year, makes me sleep better at night knowing that if something really bad happened that I'm covered for everything I have into her plus the stock value of the actual bike (which ain't much BTW)...  :)

I think the blue and white as an accent color would look phenomenal.   Maybe experiment with that 3rd set of fairings.

Nope, I just had to email them copies of all the receipts, which was actually a major pain in the butt because it was like a 3" thick folder but I did it, then they sent somebody to my house to take pics of the accessories.

All good now!  :)

Agreed, you guys should post those ideas up on the other thread I have going regarding the next paint project.

I was thinking you could just use the side fairings you have for a 3rd set, and have two different green combos whenever you felt like a swap.

Good idea TJ, but I'm really liking the green set as it is, plain Jane green-n-black...  8) ;D ;)

I agree.  Forget about the graphics.  Less is more.

The paint looks beautiful and I woudl not go with graphics, either.  You have so many cool pieces on the bike, why detract from that?

I love the blue and white stripes on the lime green, but your bike does not need those.
