That's amazing. How did the seller happen to have a complete set of bodywork? Was he planning something like you're doing?

The seller was a bike shop in Ohio, he said he'd had it all at his shop for almost 2 years left over from a customers insurance claim. Odly enough he said he listed it all 6 months ago on ebay and never got a single hit, so I guess the timing was just right me this time.  :)

Abosofreakinglootly.  Get a second set, may as well get the rolling stock as well ;D

PS, that pics of all the new tuperware?  MSF sells kits like that for training bikes, helps keep them at parking lot speeds, makes em feel like they are riding dads Harley, and no loss of value after they have been down daily :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :yikes: :stirpot:

At least another set of wheels in Ohlins gold.  I think that might look good while the black plastic is on the bike.

Well I just dropped off the last piece today to the painter, I ended up finding a dent free ZX14 tank that was local to me, got it for only $100.  8)

While at the painter looked through all the other parts they've already been prepping, everything is looking great, they were able to get all the scratches out!  :)

Some more progress pics for ya...  :chugbeer:

The sad thing Chet is I've actually already looked at those, I can't find a rear wheel for the C14 though, I even called Marchesini to see if they could make me a custom one-off...  :-[   :banghead:

Real deal on the front and creative paint on the rear?  I can only imagine how much better she'd turn in with the CF front.

The painter can't slow down the Silverdammit plastic long enough to paint it ::)  And the black bits are suffering from severe Tacophobia ;D
