The Connie Gods must be inspired by this project, today I scored right and left mirrors and right and left side bag lids that aren't even scratched for only $120 total!!  :o

I just called and canceled my order for the new mirrors (which was $240), so now I'm all in with a full body for only $1300 and also now have another set of side case lids to paint as spares or just hoard...  ;D

OMG...  :o

Sometimes drinking and ebaying pays off, or does it?  :-\

The guy I just bought the side cases and mirrors from earlier tonight reached back out to me an hour ago to see if I'd just buy his whole set from him for cheap...

A couple ebay pm's back and fourth and 2 phone calls later I seem to have now just purchased a complete nother set of bodywork including tank in 09 black for $570 shipped and it's not even crashed plastics, he changed all his auctions to buy it now while we were on the phone and I bought them piece by piece for 30 minutes...  :o

Too good of deal, I just didn't have the will to pass it up, where the heck was this angel a week ago.  :banghead:

I don't want to make this thread go off-track but should I just hoard it or have it painted in the Kawi green at the same time to hoard those parts for future or paint them in another color (is 3 sets of bodywork in 3 different colors obsessive?)...

Another fun Friday night.  ;D

And from earlier today, lids and mirrors... dude didn't even know what he had, he had them listed as 10/11, but I could tell from the pics they were 09.

I say get them both painted in the Kawi Green and then I'll buy the second set for the $570 you have in it + the cost of the paint of course.

Don't even put those on. Looks better without!

+1. I took mine off just to see how it looked, and worked, without them and never put 'em back on.

I think I am seeing a pattern here.  How many Roadcrafter suits did you end up with once you started looking for them?  and now plastics?  Good thing you weren't looking for a spare Concours.  LOL!

Well, some good and some bad today...

The good, received front fender, thanks oldnslo_MO!  :chugbeer:

Also received R&L tail sides bought off ebay.

The bad, also received the battery door, back center connection between the tail sides, and front left mid with the vents... All 3 pieces are cracked and no good to me, gonna have to try and work these out with the ebay sellers...  :'(

Thank goodness I pulled the trigger on the 2nd body set last night, seems I'm gonna be needing some of those pieces after all.  :) :chugbeer:

Really? That's surprising. I've took mine off the first year. Try it with yours off and see how you like it J. It only takes a few mins to get em off and back on.

Jay, I think you should mix up the different colors and call it Frankenstein.  Save your money on the paint costs..
