I am not really sure how to compare a high dollar seafood place to a really cheap burger joint.  Dixie Crossroads is a great place, but the prices have gone thru the roof in the last several years. I think the new ownership has driven away a lot of the old customers.

Old, 2010, playing "city tag."  Tempe, AZ   :P

Today.   :D

Branford, FL on US129. No, 129 here is not as much fun as the stretch that carries you from NC toTN, or vice versa.  ::)
Had a tasty bb-q sammich, fries and sweet tea for, like, seven bucks and change + tip.
Friendly staff, lots of home-cookin' items on the menu!

One thing I'm coming to grips with here is the style of bb-q sammich. In this region it's sliced.  ???  I like my pork pulled...errr, prefer a pulled pork sammich.   ;D

OK, one more.  ::)

My friend Brian and I stopped here for lunch just south of Flagstaff on our way to Kayenta, AZ, the starting point for our Tour of Honor Extreme Saddlesore 1000.  ;)

It's not too late to register!   http://www.tourofhonor.com/      ;D

Too bad Minder Binders is no more. It was a great place to hang out back in the late 70's and 80's. It has been closed for a long time and when I drove by it recently they were tearing it down. Bummer.

I remember Minder Binders. Went to school at U of A in the 70's and my brother lived in Tempe. I'd go up to visit and we would go there all the time.

As usual, an old one. 2011 city tag. 19th Ave in the foothills of S Mtn. in Phoenix.  ;)
Sure was easy to keep a clean machine there vs. my current locale.  :(

Today. Put the Missus on the back and had a RTE.  :)

Yummy food!  ;D
For two it was, like $23 with tip.
BB-Q sandwich available sliced or shredded. Shredded, please!!
After trying out the various bottles of sauce on the table with a few fries I chose the sauce that leaned towards the yellow color.
Delicious!!

Wife had the catfish fingers.
Very good!
The other catfish option has you navigating around bones.

We will be back!   8)
