Notice the star on the tail? Its red as in Russian. They have a squadron painted in Russian colors for training.I have been up close to them.

F4 Phantom flying between the hangers at RAF St Athan.Not my picture but I did witness this on more than one occasion during the mid to late 80's, it was a bit of a tradition to do it after a either a successful post major overhaul test flight or on the delivery flight back to the squadron
I agree. I guess we'll have to see if it works or not. I hope it does simply because of the amount of money, time and effort they've put into it.
