OK, some light humor, or humour for those across the pond. Takes our mind off of really important things and we get to glimpse history that maybe happens once every 30 years or so, even if it is in England. Knowing nothing of royal protocols or English customs, I'd say that he wouldn't be named after a living relative or past monarch from at least 50 years. George, James, Edward, Albert or Arthur comes to mind as a fairly conservative selection as I think some of the recent popular and trendy names folks give their kids wouldn't even be considered for the future King of England. What do you think?

I'd name it KiPass just to spread the karma all across the ~~empire~~ ~~kingdom~~ country.

I don't know, His Royal Highness, King KiPass sounds more like an ice cream flavor at Ben & Jerries.

James sounds good to me... King James has a good ring to it. Hasn't been one of those in awhile.

That's a given, but it might be awhile until the public knows the chosen name. Lot's of thought has to go into the naming process so I rather doubt it will be 'Fred' or 'Sue' or 'Clem'. It will probably be the name of a former King such as Edward, James, William, Henry, Richard (I like that one), John, or Philip.

I would doubt William or Phillip as those are living relatives and one is currently in front of him as heir to the throne, his father, too confusing, but not sure if its ever been done. Happening and being done are different as succession to the throne in years past has been sometimes convoluted in nature. When I typed purple I was thinking more Church of England than royal colour, but then, Edward VIII pretty much made that one and the same didn't he?

Well, if he's like the rest of them, he'll have about five names. I'd doubt that it would be Edward, since the last one stirred up quite a ruckus with his abdication. Won't be the name of any of the others currently alive, even if well down the chain of precedence.

I'm going with George.
