Bleeding new clutch line
« on: July 06, 2011, 01:07:28 AM »
Gonna use my Mityvac to bleed my new clutch line but got a question..............

With the pressurised Mityvac attached to the open bleed nipple, do you have to pull the clutch lever in and hold it in during bleeding  :-\

Nah, ya need to work the clutch lever slowly through it's full range.
Squeeze slowly, then release slowly whilst keeping the vacuum up.
If you have the slave cylinder off the bike, put a C-clamp on to stop the piston popping out.
