Have You Ever Worried..

That just maybe some hanky-panky might be going on in your bedroom when YOU'RE not there??
A solution to your dilemma has been created!
Nevermore will you guess 'Who's been in my bed'!

"The Smartress is a mattress with an inbuilt "lover detection system" that uses an array of sensors to measure the duration and intensity of any, er, activity undertaken on it, and notifies your phone if anything suspicious is going on".

Now, if you still have a thirst for just a little more of this 'breakthrough technology', you're in luck.

We can only imagine how paranoid or distrusting you'd need to be to justify such a strange piece of tech, but there are also plenty of innocent reasons other than cheating for the bed to be disturbed while you're out. Napping tops the list, but the app doesn't account for changing the sheets, kids jumping on the bed, or pets that like to move around in your room during the day. So aside from being a sad indictment on society, this "solution" would appear to have a few flaws.

It also doesn't protect you from more adventurous cheaters who like to go at it in other parts of the house, although if there's ever a Durmet smart kitchen bench, you'll be the first to know. In the meantime, the a basic double Smarttress retails for around US$1,700.

It's true that the smartress is a bit pricey, but it's new, and Ronco hasn't had a chance to 're-engineer' it,
so it can offer it to us as a 'wait for it' two for one deal.
And of course, cameras would take any guess work out of any questions that might arrive from messed sheets,
and several app alerts from your bed. Plus a hell of a lot less weight loss on the billfold.

You could recoup your investment selling the film on the internet.

:o This is something I would expect to see as a spoof on Saturday Night Live. Somebody actually came up with this idea, engineered it and is trying to market it. Bizarre doesn't begin to cover it. As Walker said, how about a simple cam if your paranoid? Also how do you even purchase and install it? "Honey, I've bought us a new bed. No never mind you never got a chance to try it or what kind or price or why we have to have a power supply (or batteries) and setup wifi...?"

Wouldn't the interruption from the phone ringing when the bed was being used by the correct couple be distracting...?   >:(

Kinda like the old joke about the singing toilet seat making it so you could never have a BM by playing the national anthem everytime you sat on it...   ;D

...Although if it didn't go off, would it be the cause of performance anxiety?...     :o
