The 30th annual Blessing of the Bikes event takes place at Victoria Park in Truro Saturday May 7th.

Thousands of bikers are expected to take part in the event, which is known as the first unofficial motorcycle rally of the year in Atlantic Canada.

Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to help others in need.

The event gets underway at 11AM, with bikers going for a ride throughout town before returning to the park.
